Become a NRL Referee
Refereeing is a fun, exciting, non-contact way to be involved with Rugby League.
Not only do you get to see all the action from the best seat on the field, but its a great way to keep fit and meet new and interesting people.

The Level 1 referee course will teach you the fundamentals of the referees involvement in the game.

Don't worry, we won't throw you in the deep end. You'll start off in the younger age groups under the watchful eye of one of our senior referees or Foundation Coaches who'll provide coaching and support as you build your confidence and move into older age groups.

Registration is open to anyone who is 13 years or older. Maybe you are still playing and want to earn some serious cash or you've decided to stop playing but want to stay involved and fit. No matter what your age, boy or girl, refereeing could be for you.
Did you know that the NRL Referee Course is VET approved? This means that once you complete the course you could earn credits towards certificate and degree courses such as sports science, teaching and personal trainer to name a few.

If you are a mature person, you are more than welcome to join our ranks. You may be an ex player or just looking to stay fit. We have a good contingent of parent/child pairs in our ranks also. Everyone is welcome.

If you are a veteran and are looking for your next challenge this may be for you. Talk to us about the NRL's Battlefields to Footy Fields' program. You may qualify for a full subsidy of the costs.

Once you have completed the Foundation 1 course you are a qualified Rugby League, League Tag and Touch Rugby League Official.

We work in with your availability and games if you are a player, involved with a team or have outside employment. You choose your times and grounds that you are available at.

Did we mention you get to earn while you learn? How does an equivalent of $28/h sound and it only goes up from there.
Compare that with Maccas or Hungry Jacks.
