Referee progression (NOAS).
Progression is a natural part of being an official. There are two pathways, and which one you follow depends on the accreditation you hold.
Check your accreditation
To check your accreditation, sign in to your profile and follow these steps:
- Go to playrugbyleague.com
- Click the 3 bars on the top left
- Click Accreditations
- Select the profile you wish to view
Depending on when you started, you will either have a Foundation accreditation or it will list age groups, for example 6 to 12, 13 to 15 or 16+. If you have a Foundation 1 accreditation and wish to progress to Foundation 2, see the Foundation pathway. If you have age groups listed and wish to progress to higher age groups, see the age group pathway below.
Age group accreditation
Age group officials progress through the three age tiers. After completing the first face to face session, officials progress by completing online modules and being assessed on a game in the age group they are progressing to.
Officials with U6 to U12 accreditation
Officials with U13 to U15 accreditation
You must be 17 to progress to U16+.
